Capturing and Preserving.....

It's those moments...You know, the ones that once they pass you just can't get them back...
So we document them. In such a way that we will never forget.  So they may be cherished forever.  So that they can be passed on long after we are gone. 
That's what I do. I Capture and Preserve those moments in time that we call memories.  Important times in other peoples lives.....In my own life too....
Sometimes people say things to give their opinions, to be spiteful, or to offer constructive criticism.  I've been told Sooo many things.  Some Positive Some Negative.  I'll take the good and learn from the bad.  One person offered in reference to my images, "It seems like you shoot with your Heart".  Another asked "Are you a Photographer or a sappy writer?" in reference to my Blog.  Some people don't even consider Photography WORK at all.  So Here's what I have to say......
I am a Hopeless Romantic! So therefore,  I love capturing emotion and I enjoy writing about the emotion that comes through in my imagery.  I am a passionate person and although I love what I do, IT IS work.  I always thank God for having given me the ability to make people happy through my Photography.  I received this note Today,  it reinforces my feelings ;)  It's like God's way of saying, "Good Job, Keep It up" 


Love the new pictures and the story on your blog...they just keep getting better, you got some great ones of Rick, and I've rarely seen a photo that really reflects who he is...I will treasure these pictures always...thanks again

He Proposed on their 5th year anniversary presenting her with a Swarovski Crystal kitten with the ring around it's neck. Their Journey to marriage has been unique and wonderful......and NOW a different Journey has begun as Husband and Wife.

The Fragrance Debate....

My husband and I are having a little bit of a debate....

I am a Coco Mademoiselle Lady myself and I would even say it's my signature fragrance. I have been using it for....hhmmm.....let's say about 12yrs. Aside from a few different gifts over the years, when it comes time for me to buy I'm always drawn right back to CHANEL.

My Husband, however is cologne obsessed =) he likes to have a few bottles going at a time. All very different fragrances and he actually switches them up. If you were wondering yes he wears cologne to sleep at night...LOL

Don't get me wrong I like my man to smell good, but aftershave at night is sufficient ;)

Our debate is this...He thinks that he should buy a fragrance even if he likes it but I don't.....I think he should only buy fragrances that we both like. :)

Isn't that why he puts cologne on in the first place so he can smell good for me?

He purchased My original bottle of Coco Mademoiselle years ago, so I think it's safe to say he likes it ;) he has given me different fragrances over the years and if he liked it and I liked it....I wore it. I just don't ever see myself getting something that I KNOW he doesn't like....Wouldn't that be like wearing Repellent?

What do YOU say folks? Am I right??

Tiny Toes.....

They are my favorite......whenever I hold a newborn I have to pull the socks off and play with their feet... I just LOVE baby feet.

Meet Victoria Enid....

You might remember her mom from a previous post A Mother's Heart. My goodness how time flies, I can't believe she's here already...

She is so precious that you instantly fall in Love...I was blessed to be able to visit and hold her on her second day of life. I was honored to have been able to capture these precious moments.

She is a good baby mom tells me, barely cries, mostly sleeps....

however I think she might have been a little hungry in the image above.

We are all thankful to say that all turned out well and the big sisters are ecstatic. I think mom looks great here too doesn't look like she just had a baby at all ;)

Dad is One very Blessed Man to be surrounded by all this Beauty =)

Erojane's Sweet 15

Fifteen Years have passed,

Fifteen Beautiful Spring times,

She is now a beautiful young lady,

We give thanks to the Lord for this blessing.

That is what her invitation said, and truly her parents are blessed to raise such a lovely young lady. They do it with such Joy, every girl should be so blessed as to have parents like hers.

Time passes all too quickly. Young children grow so fast, which is why it was my pleasure to capture moments like these to be cherished for a lifetime and beyond......

Ero...May the Lord continue to bless you all the days of your life. It was an honor to celebrate this day with you.

Psalm 46:10

I made my way up to Rindge, NH yesterday to shoot a wedding. I was at Cathedral of the Pines, and although I visited the website and read all about it. I was not prepared for what my eyes saw.

It was truly an amazing experience. I can't begin to describe how I felt, when I was before the view at this very spot.

"Be Still, and know that I am GOD! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the World" - Psalm 46:10

It is my belief that I could not be who I am today if not for God himself. Today I feel so blessed knowing that God takes care of me. I am so grateful to the Lord, for he always provides. I give him the Glory for the ability to be able to capture the above image. I Praise HIM for allowing me to have a talent to share and bless others.

I LOVE the Lord for he created all Things for us to enjoy.

Overwhelming Response.....

I recently booked a Wedding, kinda short notice, not a year in advance as is accustomed. I was Super Excited, but Having done the last one Solo, I promised myself NEVER to do that again.

When shooting a wedding you Always need an assistant. So, I posted an add on Craig's list for an assistant. My oh My was I surprised with the overwhelming response. I was clear and to the point expressing my needs. I had never posted an add on craig's list before so, truth is, I was a little lost at first.

I have a new dilemma now, How to choose from all these fabulous people that want to help.... Now there is the hard part.

If you responded to my add and are reading this, PLEASE be patient as I am trying to make the best decision possible not only for me, but for my Bride and Groom.

I Have been extremely busy these past 2 weeks and I praise the LORD for that, I have another event tomorrow and....Being that Today is My Husbands Birthday...I'm taking a time out and will return fresh with a decision by Sunday I Promise.

A Diva in the Making!

This little girl is very precious and super cute, But watch out world....

She is one true Diva in the Making =)

You see her mom is a STYLIST and Not just a Hair Stylist.......Style is Her thing. So it's no surprise where her daughter get's it from. She loves getting her hair and nails done. She has a love for style even at her age. She is very opinionated and knows what she likes. There is no need to tell this child how to pose or what faces to make she did all of this all on her own with no direction.......Sure made my Job easier ;)

Happy Birthday to Aly who will be turning 5 soon, 5 going on 15 that is.....

I look forward to watching her Grow into the Diva that she was born to be =)
