Beautiful New England Weather...

It's been a mild winter to say the least. We had no snow at all at christmas, which is rare in New England. We had 60 degree weather in January. So when February kicked in and we got our first real storm of the season no one seemed to be bothered by it. However beautiful it is, when you are expecting a blizzard 2 days later bringing a foot of snow, people get annoyed. I on the other hand am very content. I am a New England Girl through and through. I don't believe there's any amount of Love for the tropics that can drag me away from the beautiful changing seasons of New England.  Here the joke is... "if you don't like the weather in New England just wait a Minute (because that's how quickly it changes)'
Well this beautiful weather will soon pass there are only 40 days until Spring with summer following at 133 days..it won't be long so enjoy it while it lasts.

I love how the sun was bouncing off all the snow covered trees bright and early in the morning.  I'm glad I had the opportunity to be able to capture and share these.

Happy Snow filled Tuesday!!!

Intensity...

The intensity I feel behind this black & white image is how I do everything in Life...

I do everything with an intense passion...Yes I do. I believe when you do anything, you should put your all into it. I will not change or compromise this passion of mine, for it makes me who I AM.

The Reveal...

Years ago it used to be that you wouldn't know the sex of your baby until the day he/she was born...times change..technology advances and well....folks are getting creative to announce the sex of their baby's well in advance.

I have seen more and more ways that the announcements are being made but In this instance the couple wanted to use photographs and social media to make it known they are expecting a baby girl :)
I was very happy to oblige.

Congratulations to Tanisha & Arturo who will be expecting their bundle of joy next month.

Mi Bella Isla (My beautiful Island)

In my life I haven't had much opportunity to travel, not for lack of desire. There was always just something more important. This past year I had someone convince me that it's extremely important for yourself to just get away.  So when the opportunity arose I grabbed it. I have no regrets. I would do it all over again. I had been to Puerto Rico a few other times, but never had I seen it like I saw it this time. The wonderful thing is that I was able to capture it through my lens and bring it home to treasure it for a lifetime.

This view is HOME...My mother's home that is, sitting on the porch enjoying my coffee and watching the sunrise. I was amazed.

This view is from Juncos, Puerto Rico. I spent a lot of summers out here as a child. I couldn't appreciate it then, like I do now.

When you choose to visit Puerto Rico, you won't want to miss this spot. It connects San Juan and Loiza.. It's Called PiƱones and it's breathtaking!

You will be able to eat all of the wonderful typical Puerto rican foods in what we call kioskitos...
Shown here is an Alcapuria and un Relleno de Platano.  Enjoy with Ice cold Corona from the Island...

Then...You just go sit by the edge of the ocean to hear those waves crash and enjoy your company along with your beer...Like I did <3
