Friends and Flowers....

I Love my friends :)

They motivate me, encourage me, and sometimes even yell at me ;)
I don't know what my life would have been like if I didn't have friends around.  I love to share my time with my friends. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, an extravagant dinner or just a cup of coffee (my favorite). These things are all better when shared with friends.

I have been feeling a little distant lately. I was in real need of some friend time so I called my friend Madeline and offered her breakfast. Everyone knows I make great eggs and fries and not to mention the best coffee in town.

We had a nice time and she really surprised me when she showed up with these at the door. with my favorite autumn colors =)

 My daughter couldn't have said it better when she said "sometimes it's the little things that count"

My Autmn Tree....

Autumn is my favorite time of year...but Christmas isn't too far behind it. I love putting my tree up. If I may, I'd like to tell the Story of my Tree...

I like expensive things...but I'm not a snob....I'm the just the type that would rather save to buy something that is just a bit pricier but will last way longer.  That being said I will tell you that my tree is going on it's 10th year =)  At the time I didn't have any living room furniture. For reasons of moving from one place to the other and throwing out the old sofas before the new ones were purchased. Soooo.... since I had all that extra space I bought the biggest and best atificial tree I could find that year ~ 2001.  After having put up the tree in early November (I'm always Early) I had to unexpectedly move and so I had to take it all down and put it back up.  I didn't mind.  It was after all the only thing in my Living room ;)

One year I actually left it up all year and decorated it for all the different seasons That was fun. People thought I was a little weird different but I had fun with it.

In 2009 My tree was stuck in a storage in sunny Florida while I was back in New England...that year I REALLY missed my tree.  So last year ~ 2010 I decided to put it up in October. I was anxious to take the poor tree out of the box so I decided to decorate it as an Autmn Tree. It was beautiful and the change over to christmas decor was a breeze.  So Here it is 2011 my tree know lives in 2 seperate boxes as the original box could no longer handle the wear and tear. My TREE however stands strong and beautiful....you guessed it it's up. My lights were a problem this year, as my tree was up before christmas lights made an appearance on the store shelves. ;)  I just let it stand undecorated in the corner until lights were available. The debate was...do I just wait to put the christmas decorations on it? Or Can I get a couple of weeks with Autumn decor?

I managed to find just a few pumpkins and my autumn ribbon and I will enjoy it until it's really time for christmas decorations (Thanksgiving Day;)

I'm excited to add a lime green for christmas this year it's gonna be great...but for now I'll Enjoy the Autumn tree. It truly make me happy!

 

Jenitza's a Teenager.....

Watch out world!!! My baby girl is now officially a teenager...

I really can't believe all this time has passed. I remember a very sweet and chunky Baby Girl. Truly a Blessing in my life in oh so many ways that I just can't count. She is such a great daughter. I wish my beautiful princess an amazing Birthday!!

 In The Image below she is wishing Really hard for her wish, and I am wishing just as hard as she is that the Lord will Guide and Protect her in all the decisions that she makes. 

 

I love you more than Life itself Baby Girl.  I wish you an amazing birthday and that all of your wishes (and mine) come true.  =)

North Conway....

Towards the end of the summer I was able to head up to the White Mountains with a good friend of mine. The views were breathtaking and we had an amazing time.

I know I already Blogged My favorite image from the trip on The White Mountains post here..but I hope these are enjoyed just as much.

This is my second post today....as I'm making up for the 2 days I didn't post =)

Let's call it even and hope that I can keep up with my own personal Challenge.

Wind Chime.....

Sometimes it's the way you look at things to make them interesting.....


This wind chime sat, kind of in the woods behind my apartment last year, (you know the one I hated) but it's just a part of the randomness that I see, and My Daughter says It's the little things that count ;) 


For those faithful readers that were expecting an image every singe day, Well sometimes life gets in the way :) I'll make it up to you...maybe I'll post twice today!

Naturally Autumn...

Here it is Day 3 of November and as Promised I am sharing what I see in this wonderful world around me. Autumn is my favorite time of the year.  God's Creations are amazing and I truly enjoy Autumn in New England.  I wouldn't ever have it any other way. I will enjoy my Autumns in New England for the rest of my life.

If you find a flaw in the Quality of these images...... Just know that my iPhone takes amazing images too, not as good as my camera but good enough for me to post.  :)

My Ever Changing World...

Hi There;
So.... I know I have been a bit absent from here, and I am going to apologize in advance. But My world is going through some changes and I've been a little preoccupied. 

I am going to do my best for the next 2 weeks to make up for it. How you ask? I am going for November Randomness!!!

I'll start with the Wonderful October Snow we had....

This is where my nice stone walk way usually is ;) instead it's the trees/bushes that line my house. They are actually on the ground and blocking the way just with the weight of the Snow.
