What's Your Point of View???

There are many ways to see things in Life....and there are a lot of ways to look at the same thing. You could have a dozen people look at the same exact thing and it will be described differently each time. Some People see a cup half empty, while others see it half full.

The definition of a point of view is.......

"a mental position from which things are viewed"

So, I guess it's all about how you train your mind to "view" things.

Everyone has and is entitled to their own point of view.

I took the images below at nice little place in South Natick. I kept trying to decide which Point of View held the better image........

But I quickly decided one is not better than the other....It is simply from a DIFFERENT Point of View.

You can decide which one YOU like better.

La Quinceañera

A Quinceañera is the Hispanic tradition of celebrating a young girl's coming of age and that is her 15th Birthday.

Little girls in the Hispanic Culture dream of becoming La Quinceañera........This is the Day when a little Girl becomes a Young Lady. It is the day when she gets to waltz around in a ballgown and be crowned.

There are many different ceremonies. The most common is the gift of a Tiara which symbolizes the triumph over her childhood and the ability to face the challenges ahead.

It is traditional for the ceremony to include changing of her little girl shoes to high heels which represents becoming a young lady.

Also Common is the gift of a Scepter symbolizing that She is becoming responsible for herself.

I took the above images at the celebration of a Very Special Quinceañera. I was there the day she was born and it amazes me how time flies. She has grown into such a beautiful young Lady and has made me very proud to be her TITI.

Sometimes, What we are looking for is not what we thought we were looking for.....

Sometimes, We have to be without to appreciate the things that we have.......

Sometimes, That thing that we were looking for was right in front of us the whole time....

Sometimes, We need see things from a different perspective........

Sometimes, I find the beauty of an image has nothing to do with a person's face.

Sometimes.............You can dance without looking and just FEELING your way.
